Case Studies SimplĂ Botanicals
Simplí Botanicals is a line of CBD products that focuses on purity. Their CBD is CO2-extracted, using a state-of-the-art method that yields the cleanest product possible. Every batch of hemp oil product is then tested by chemical engineers from a 3rd party accredited laboratory, with the results made available to customers. Simplí also donates a portion of sales to pediatric cancer research.
The goal was to give Simplí Botanicals a look and feel that fit their philosophy and the purity of their product. The decision was made that a "Less is More" approach was best for all aspects of branding Simplí Botanicals.
The objective was to create an identity that would convey them as high-end and their product as pure. The mark draws from the simple typography commonly used in the beauty industry, with one simple cannabis leaf adorning the i as it's diacritic accent.
The website, keeping with the brand philosophy, is simple and modern. Care was made to ensure an easy and intuitive flow of purchase, starting with a clear and clean organization of the product categories, and then further the choice of potency of each product.
A color system was created when designing Simplí's product line, and followed through to all other aspects of the brand. Product packaging was designed to be extremely simple, and unified through all categories: CBD Tinctures, Premium Hemp Flower, and Full Spectrum Topicals.
